Cilantro chutney can be made with many variations, one of which is Cilantro mint chutney. It gives the tangy flavour of mint and a rich flavour of Cilantro mixed with lemon juice differentiates Cilantro mint chutney from other chutnies.
Ingredients for Cilantro mint Chutney:
1 cups Cilantro leaves (dhaniya patti / coriander)
2 cups mint leaves, chopped (pudina)
1 onion, chopped
5 green chillies, chopped (hari mirch)
2 table-spoon lemon juice (Nimbu ka ras)
1/4 t-spoon cumin powder, roasted (Jeera)
1 t-spoon sugar
1/2 t-spoon salt or to taste
How to make Cilantro mint Chutney:
- Take a mixer and add all the ingredients to it. Grind them to form a smooth paste. Add 2-3 table-spoon of water if needed.
- Cilantro mint Chutney is ready to eat. Serve Cilantro mint Chutney in a glass bowl.
