Pomegranate Raita Recipe

Ingredients for Pomegranate Raita:

1 cup yogurt (dahi)
1/2 cup Pomegranate seeds, washed (Anar dana)
1/2 t-spoon black salt or to taste (kala namak)
1/4 t-spoon black pepper (Kali mirch)
10-15 fresh coriander leaves
1/2 cup water


How to make Pomegranate Raita:

  • Take a medium sized bowl and add yogurt to it. Mash it with a blender or madani until it gets smooth. Add water and remaining ingredients except Pomegranates and again mix them well.
  • Now, add Pomegranates to it and mix it again.  Refrigerate raita for 1/2 hour
  • Before serving, garnish Pomegranate Raita with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve chilled.
